-Basic Care-
Bunnies are one of the easiest animals to own and require minimal care. There are a few things, though, that are very important to help your bunny live a long healthy life.
Food- the quality of food that you feed your bunny will show in how long your bunny lives and its general wellbeing. I feed my bunnies rabbit pellets that are made at the local feed mill. They need fed pellets daily. This makes up a large percentage of their diet. Bunnies also need hay. I feed Timothy Hay. There are other options such as oat hay and orchard grass. I do not recommend Alfalfa as it is too rich for their delicate tummies. You can supplement your bunnies diet with a range of veggies and herbs, Black Oil Sunflower seeds, oats, and fruit tree branches/trimmings.
Water- clean fresh water is the most important thing that you can provide for your bunny. It should be checked and changed regularly. I water my bunnies in the winter using little troughs so that I can break the ice out and with critter canteens in the summer.
Cage- your bunny needs a space, whether indoors or outdoors, where it is contained and safe from predators. This space does not need to be very big. If your bunny lives outside, it will need to have a box with hay in the winter and adequate shade in the summer. Be aware that heat is way harder on bunnies than cold.
If you have any questions concerning the care of your bunny please reach out! I would love to answer any questions that you have!
-Breeding Schedule-
I generally start breeding my bunnies in early February through June. Then again in October through December. I update my current litters and babies for sale regularly so be sure to watch for coming babies! If I do not have any babies for sale then you can send me a message and request to be put on the waitlist. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. I reserve the right to have pick of the litter.
-Buying-
When you buy a bunny from me I prioritize making the transition between homes as smooth as possible for the bunny. This means that I send them home with 3-5 days worth of the current feed and hay that they are on. They will also have their nails freshly trimmed.
-Pedigrees-
I sell the babies with or without their pedigrees depending on the quality of the animal. I sell pedigreed babies for $150-$180 and non-pedigreed generally for $100-$150.
-Shipping-
I only serve local areas at this time. I am based out of Boise, ID.
